Vince Allen Lathem 50, of Jasper, Georgia passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 6th, 2022 surrounded by four faithful trusted guardians of the family, Diesel, Boo-Boo, Cotton, and Kenai.

Vince is survived by his loving wife of almost three years, Molly Lathem and his bonus son, Tommy Paschal, his parents, Robert and Diane Lathem, Molly’s loving family who welcomed Vince so graciously and loved him dearly, a sister Marsha (Tim) York, a brother, Brant (Dana) Lathem, four nieces and nephews, Dallas (Amanda) York, Jon York, Ella Lathem, Eden Lathem, three grand nephews, Chandler, Lucas, Lonnie Lathem York, a loving uncle and three aunts, trusted employees, numerous cousins and a multitude of friends.

Born December 19, 1971 in Gwinnett County, Georgia Vince lived most of his life in the Alpharetta area. He attended Hopewell Elementary School, Haynes Bridge Middle School, and Milton High School where he was involved in athletics, especially wrestling and football.

Vince attended East Carolina University on a football scholarship for two years and later graduated from the University of Georgia in Athens with a major in horticulture.

He enjoyed landscaping and growing plants and was later involved in fence building. He loved being outdoors, fishing and crabbing with Molly and Tommy, had a great love for animals and considering them family. He was also a “kid magnet”. If he was ever around little children, they would eventually end up in his lap, checking out his beard.
