Our beautiful, loving mother, meemaw, sister and friend, Victoria “Vicki” (Nelms) Bowen, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018, at the age of 71.
She was born November 9, 1946 in Centralia, the daughter of Lawrence Rudolph Nelms and Maxine (Hiltibidal) Woodward and the granddaughter of Goldie and Joe Hiltibidal of Walnut Hill, Illinois.
Vicki is survived by two daughters: Tosha Bollent and husband Dave of Apollo Beach, Florida and Maria Lauder and husband John of Centralia; three grandsons: Trevor Altadonna of Apollo Beach, Florida, Logan Lauder and Max Lauder both of Centralia; two sisters: Pat Pawlisa and husband Tom of Centralia and Tonia Schofield and husband Jay of Greensburg, Indiana; a brother: Scott Woodward of Tennessee; two nieces: Misty Pawlisa of Centralia and Morgan Schofield of Greensburg, Indiana; a nephew: Christopher Woodward of Tennessee; her loving companion: Dr. Tom Wood of Centralia, Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Vicki worked in the Cosmetic Retail Industry for 25 years and worked the last 16 years for Neiman Marcus in Tampa, Florida.
Please know that your love and friendship meant the world to our mother and we will celebrate her life always! Mom loved to explore and now she is on her next adventure in Heaven! Be kind to one another, for all we have is each other!
