Victoria E. (Spaulding) Woods, beloved mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at home in Bluffton, SC surrounded by her loved ones on August 5, 2021, at the age of 66.
Vicki was born in Indianapolis, Indiana daughter of James C. Spaulding and Regina E. Bess. She attended Emmerich Manuel High School, in Indianapolis, Indiana. She went on to get her Paralegal Degree while living in California, and later her nursing degree from Ivy Tech in Indianapolis, Indiana. Vicki enjoyed continuing her education throughout her life. Vicki worked many years as a nurse at multiple facilities in Indiana prior to her move to South Carolina where she continued her service as a nurse at Life Care in Hilton Head.
Vicki was a long-time resident of Greenwood, Indiana. She also lived in California and Nevada before settling in Bluffton, SC.
Vicki was a generous and loving person who impacted and bettered the life of every person she encountered. Vicki was proof that families don’t have to share blood; young souls found their way to her whether they were from her womb or somebody else’s. Spending time with her family was Vicki’s greatest joy in life. She had a multitude of interests that included: Home-improvement projects, Horror/Sci-Fi films, Politics, and of course shopping.
Vicki is survived by her son Brad (Alisha) McIntosh, daughter Kristen McIntosh (Justin Horinko), her brother Warren (Lisa) Spaulding, her sister Tracy (Mark) Brown, her grandchildren Hanna Hoskins and Derek McIntosh, and great-grandson Gabriel. Vicki was proceeded in death by her parents, her son, Jason Hoskins, and her sister, Lisa Mae Spaulding Wilson. She will also be remembered with love by the many “adopted” kids she loved as her own throughout the years.
