Victoria was born to Nathaniel and Evangelia Arvanetakes, and her early life was spent in what is now the Miami Design District, where her father was a businessman. Victoria was graduated from Miami High in 1948, and later married her cherished husband, George, at The St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral, in Miami, where she attended Sunday School as a child and sang in the choir as a young adult.
