Passed away Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at the age of 77. She was born October 5, 1938 in Allegan, MI to the late Virgil M. and Hilda (Bongee) Germain.
Victoria was united in marriage to Joseph L. Newby who preceded her in death. She later married Bob Smith who also preceded her in death. Mom loved gardening, playing cards, spending time with friends but most important to her was being with her family.
Her greatest joy came from being with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an amazing cook and loved making special meals for those she loved. Victoria is survived by her children, Joseph M. (Dawn) Newby, Jeff M. (Leigh) Newby, Jon M. Newby and Nicole J. G. (Shane) Jones; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Marfia; and several nieces and nephews.
Victoria was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Sonia, Marcia and Geri.
