Victor York, age 61 of Clayton, Georgia passed away on December 2, 2022. Victor was born the son of Marcus Calvin York and Winnie Sue York on January 12, 1961.
In his professional life he worked as a builder in the construction industry. Victor enjoyed being outdoors and he was involved with the search and rescue team. He loved hiking on the Appalachian and Bartram Trails, camping and fishing.
His son, Michael York, preceded him in death.
His survivors include his loving wife, Nancy York, of the home; his parents, Marcus Calvin York and Winnie Sue McClain York; his son, Daniel York (Casey) of Florida, two brothers, Gregory York (Martha), of Long Creek, South Carolina and Tommy York (Kathy) of Clayton, Georgia; one sister, Suzanne Canada (Irvin), of Clayton; two grandchildren, Connor and Jace; Victor is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
