Victor Sergio Fresa, 57, of East Haven, peacefully passed on July 10, 2013 at 8:50am with family by his side, while at Connecticut Hospice in Branford. He was born in Naples, Italy on March 13, 1956. He is predeceased by his parents Joseph Fresa and Anna Durante Fresa of Branford, CT as well as his brothers, Jerry and Tony Fresa. He was married to Heather Turner Fresa on Sept. 14, 2008. For many years Victor was an employee at Automatic Fasteners, Inc., formally in Branford, where he was the manager of the shipping and receiving department. While there he made many life-long friends. Earlier in his life he also worked at the family restaurant, Nina’s, formally in Branford, making pizza with his family. Victor enjoyed many outdoor activities such as hunting and fishing. He was an excellent bowler and played on various softball teams. He was an avid Yankees and Giant’s fan and was passionate about collecting memorabilia. Victor was especially fond of vacationing with his family. He will be best remembered as a man who loved being with his family and friends while sharing a meal, especially if it entailed pasta and homemade chocolate chip cookies. As long as he was surrounded by the people he loved and his dogs, Jake and Mickey, he was a happy man. Victor is survived by his wife Heather Turner Fresa as well as his daughters Alyssa Gwinnell and her husband John Gwinnell and their children Ben and Anderson; Amy Romano and her husband Mark Romano and their children Tyler, Niko and Luca; Alison Fresa and her daughter Anna Grady; and Alaina Fresa and her finance John Carafeno, Jr. Also, by his step daughters Chantelle Turner and her son Jordan Turner; and Katie Turner. He is also survived by his brother Lucian Fresa and his children Jennifer Fresa Jackson and her husband Douglas Jackson and Joseph Fresa and his sister Sue Ciccone and her husband Frank Ciccone and their children Daniel, Tony and Cristina. Additional survivors include his ex-wives Sharon Arthur Berger and Roxanne Gregoire Fresa as well as many other family members and friends.
