Victor Roy Stalcup, 85, Anderson, died September 21, 2011 at St. Johns Health System, after an extended illness.
He was born February 22, 1926 in Midland, Indiana, and lived most of his life in this area. He served with the United States Army during World War II in the European Theatre. Victor worked in the personnel office at General Motors, retiring in 1992, after 42 years of service.
He was a longtime member of the Columbus Avenue Church of Christ. Survivors include his wife, whom he married December 25, 1948, Della Vaughn Stalcup; children, Vicki Hollon Gary of Anderson, Stephen Stalcup & Shari Daugherty Bill of Anderson; brother, Wayne Stalcup of Brownsburg; grandchildren, Natasha Reilley Keith, Lydia Haley Brent, Seth Stalcup, and Shelby, Jonathan & Ryleigh Daugherty; great granddaughter, Mason Haley and one great grandson about to be born.
