MSG Victor Patin Halme, US Army, Retired, 71, a resident of Glen Burnie for 27 years, passed away at home on June 1, 2013. Victor was born on September 29, 1941 to the late Walter and Edwina Halme. He graduated from Frayser High School in Memphis, TN. Victor served as active duty Marine followed by active duty reserves from 1959-1962 and retired from the United States Army in 1986, receiving numerous medals including: Vietnam Service Medal, Bronze Star Medal and Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, Post 160, Marine Corps. League, Det. 1049 Anne Arundel County, American Legion, Post 276 and Devil Dogs, Pound 204.
