Victor Arthur Johnson, the son of Arthur and Amanda Johnson, was born Dec. 17, 1912 and passed away April 10, 2010.
Victor was united in marriage to Leta Reynolds on March 14, 1937. With this union was born a son, Lawrence, who later died in a car accident in 1961. Victor and Leta, farmed around Chariton Iowa most of their married lives, before retiring and moving into the city limits.
Victor is preceded in death by his parents, wife Leta, and his son Lawrence.
He is survived by his 2 sisters; Betty Burgett and Verle Reynolds, 3 brothers; Raymond, Lyle and Charles, many nieces and nephews.
Family met with friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 13, 2010.
