Victor Jerome Primeau, age 66, of Demotte, Indiana passed away Monday, November 16, 2020, in Indianapolis, Indiana.

Victor was born on November 9, 1954 in Marietta, Ohio to Leon E. and Marjorie (Schott) Primeau. Victor was a graduate Rensselaer Central High School with the Class of 1973. He was recently retired from Inland Steel/Mittal Steel, where he was employed for over 47 years as a Rail Supervisor. On August 23, 1975 in Rensselaer, Indiana, Victor married Debra K. Nelson, who survives. Victor, having worked for over 47 years, had a very strong work ethic. He took great pride in his work and taught countless others their trade. He was revered by the mill and was affectionately known as “The Commander”. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, and especially his grandchildren. They were his whole world. Victor was a member of the Grace Fellowship Church in Demotte.

Victor is survived by his loving wife, Debra, of Demotte, IN; children, Brian (Kristin) Primeau of Hebron, IN and Mark (Lynzie) Primeau of Lafayette, IN; grandchildren, Riley, Logan, Kalyn, Gavin, Max, and Luke; siblings, Renee (Alfred) Morandi of Rensselaer, IN Jill (Gregory) Wilson of Wheatfield, IN, Steven (Debbi) Primeau of Demotte, IN, and Charles (Becky) Primeau of Avon Park, FL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Marjorie.
