Victor E. Reblitz, 86, Pendleton, Indiana, passed away May 19, 2010.
Born in Wrightstown, Wisconsin, he is preceded by his parents, Emma & Victor George Reblitz, and a sister, Norma Joppe. Vic was a proud veteran of WWII and retired after 44 years of service to his country, most of which was with the U.S. Army Counter Intelligence Corps. He received many commendations and awards during his military career, served as consumer advocate to the Indiana Board of Pharmacy for several years, and was actively affiliated with the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. With a natural gift for languages, Vic was fluent in German, Russian and Czech?and he made many friends all over the world. He never met a stranger and enjoyed conversations on current events, politics and genealogy. A devout Christian, he was a member of the Faith Church in Anderson, Indiana.
Survivors include his loving wife of 63 years, Ruth Reblitz; son, Thomas and wife, Sherry Reblitz; daughter, Bonnie and husband, Leigh Toms; sister, Carol Brown of West DePere, Wisconsin; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends who remember him with affection, admiration and respect.
