On July 3, 1963 in Lynwood, California, Victor Anthony McFrazier affectionately known as Tony graced the world with his presence.  He would be the only child that would be born from the union of Lawayne and Joycelyn McFrazier.  Anthony was a very outgoing, tenacious, humorous and a very loving individual.  Anthony was also very loyal to his friends, and family, he spent his entire life illustrating his love by showing up for them in numerous ways.  As a result of their love for him in return, he was given many names such as “Cubby,” “Mr. Mac,” and “Big Ant.”

Anthony attended John Muir High School in Pasadena graduating in 1982.  After finishing high school, Anthony went on to study at Pasadena Community College while also working as a manager at McDonalds.  While working at McDonalds, Anthony met Kathi in 1978 and relocated to Los Angeles where they would be married in 1984.  Anthony loved children and the couple welcomed three sons Klynte’, Jonathan and Xavier and he always remained a very present Dad to them.  He did not take his role of being a father lightly.  Anthony instilled in them to always be respectful and to be good men.  He would challenge them to be their best selves and achieve each goal they set.  He was ecstatic watching his sons mature, make families of their own, realize their purposes in life and begin to achieve their accomplishments in life.

Anthony was very ambitious and desired to be a great provider and protector for his family.  Shortly after he was married, he began driving buses for Brock Bus Lines, and as an opportunity to grow was presented Anthony changed employers and began his career with Los Angeles Unified School District.  While employed with LAUSD, he met many lifelong friends and developed a great rapport with most of the students he came in contact with.  In his role as a bus driver, he also took on a role as a change agent in the community.  Anthony would transport students, but he would also always make sure to encourage and motivate them to be successful in life.  Students felt the love he had for them and loved riding on “Mr. Mac’s bus!”

In his free time, Anthony enjoyed dancing, laughing and hanging out with his friends.  As a result, he decided he wanted to ride motorcycles and joined the Flamingos Motorcycle Club.  Through the Flamingos and their rides, he made so many friends because of his outgoing personality.  Not only was his statue a presence that could befriend anyone, so was his heart.

While Anthony enjoyed all of his roles as a husband, father, bus driver, and his hobby of riding motorcycles with his club members, he suffered a stroke in 2011 and was no longer able to actively participate in many of the activities he had grown to love.  While fighting to recover he continued being the “Anthony” we all loved.  He continued making us laugh and having conversations to simply say, “I love you!”  He continued to be what we needed, motivating us to live each day to its fullest.

In April 2022, Anthony grew tired of the doctors’ appointments and issues with his health and made a very conscious decision that it was time for to him to rest.  On October 8, 2022, Anthony entered eternal rest where he was met by his parents LaWayne Mc Frazier and Joycelyn Demus.  He was also met by his grandparents, uncles, aunts, and other family members who preceded  him in death.

Remaining to cherish the memories of his life are his beloved wife Kathi Mc Frazier of 38 years, sons Klynte, Jonathan and Xavier.  His 9 grandchildren, Brother Erik (Clare), aunts, uncles, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends that will miss him dearly.
