Vickie Sue Luschen, age 63, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, August 28, 2021. Vickie was born on December 8, 1957 in San Pablo, CA to Karen May Gibson and James Avilla.
Vickie and her broth Carl spent much of their younger years with their grandparents, Dell and May. Vickie and Carl also spent a great deal of their lives with their cousins, Kathy and Scott Gibson.
Vickie met her husband James Lee Luschen in 1973, they were married in August 1975 in California. They later moved to Ogden, Utah, where they had their 3 children, Kandice, Jennifer and Jamie.
Vickie had various jobs throughout her life, however her favorite job was being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Vickie is survived by her daughters Jennifer (Santiago) Delgado and Jamie Luschen; her grandchildren Sid, Liv, Lex, Joe, Vic, Avery and Richard; great-grandchildren Xavier, Ainslee, Nevaeh and baby girl coming November 21 from Victoria, and of course her bff honey girl.
Also survived by her sisters Kathy and Connie; brother Bobby; nieces Christy and Ashley; nephews Carl, Gus, Frank, Kevin and all her Luschen family in California.
Vickie was preceded in death by her husband James, daughter Kandice, mother Karen, Father James Avilla, grandmother and grandfather May and Dell Gibson, uncle Raymond, brother Carl and cousin Scott.
Vickie will be truly missed by many, she was truly loved by everyone who ever met her.
