Vicki Babcock, 68, of Indianapolis, Indiana, embarked on a well-deserved journey to Heaven on November 30, 2021.
She was born September 8, 1953 to Paul Ruppert and Edith (Freeland) Ruppert, who preceded her in death. She will also reunite with siblings Gary Ruppert and Paula Stotts and brothers-in-law Wayne Stotts and Steve Milligan.
Vicki is survived by sisters Sharon Ruppert and Cheryl Milligan, many nieces and nephews, and a dear friend Patti.
Vicki was full of life and loved beings of all kinds. As a toddler, she enjoyed the company of an imaginary friend named Pinky and two imaginary dogs named Charlie and Lassie. Vicki cared for her imaginary “friends” to the fullest extent her parents would allow.
Vicki attended PS#15, Moorhead Elementary and Woodview Junior High School and went on to Vocational Training at Goodwill Industries, where she worked for many years until she retired.
Her favorite pastime was mailing assorted greeting cards to friends and family. She also enjoyed shopping, doing word search puzzles, and going to Dinner Theaters and various other social activities. In earlier years, she loved babysitting for nieces and nephews, but of course, they are all grown now. Her passion, until illness prohibited, was her church and fellow parishioners.
