It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. Vicki Panaccione announce her passing on Monday, April 11, 2022 at the age of 67. She passed peacefully at Holmes Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family and closest friends.
She is survived by her father, Jerome “Jerry” Feuer and his wife Barbara, her son and only child Alexander “Alex” Panaccione and his wife Amanda who is pregnant with their first child, and her devoted boyfriend Jeffery “Jeff” Rooke.
Vicki was born in Fort Campbell, KY on October 18, 1954 to parents Jerome Louis Feuer & Gilda Rosenberg. The oldest of three siblings (brothers Danny and Michael), Vicki received her college education at Brandeis and Rutgers Universities before completing her Ph.D. at the University of Tennessee with a specialty in child psychology. She was formerly married to John “Jack” Panaccione, the father of her son, Alexander, who she gave birth to in Louisville, KY in 1986 after completing her internship. Shortly thereafter, the family relocated to Indian Harbour Beach, FL in 1991. In nearby Melbourne, she opened a private psychology practice and has spent more than 30 years since serving her community by helping kids of all ages recognize their potential and improving the relationships between thousands of parents and their children.
In addition to her private practice, as an internationally recognized parenting expert, speaker, parent coach, and consultant, “Dr. Vicki,” as she was known, shared her message to an international audience with in-person seminars, weekly e-newsletters, a variety of radio broadcasts, and took the stage with renown motivational speakers.
Vicki loved to travel and explored every corner of the United States, cruised tropical and glacial waters, and discovered the history and beauty of countries across the world. She spent nearly every summer at Sanibel Island where she partook in her favorite hobby, shelling. She had a passion for the arts: volunteering at the local theaters, attending Broadway shows, and collecting colorful and eclectic artwork wherever she went.
