Vicki Marie Burch, passed away quietly in her home Friday morning, May 13, 2016, following a long battle with cancer. She was born in Athens, Georgia, October 4, 1954. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dale and Gladys Williamson Burch. She is survived by her three sisters, Beverly Jean Ferguson (W.C.), Judy Ann Mickelson, Linda Fox (Owen), and many nieces and nephews.
Vicki worked 15 years as a federal officer, and 15 years at Clearfield Job Corps, in security. She enjoyed working with the youth at the Job Corps, helping them make right choices. They called her “Mama”. She loved her work and loved those with whom she worked. She loved animals, gardening, doing home improvements and helping her neighbors, friends, and family. Vicki will be missed greatly by all.
