Vicki Margo Wright, 75 of Washington, Indiana passed away, into her heavenly home on February 12, 2022 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born on November 2, 1946 in Elnora, Indiana to James and Pauline (Myers) Brown. She graduated from Elnora High School in 1964 and Vincennes University in 1966.

Vicki initially worked as a secretary and telephone operator in Vincennes, Indiana. She then worked at NWSC Crane, where she served as secretary to the base commander and later in human resources. In 1993, she continued her career at Ft. Irwin, CA, Ft. Belvoir, VA and later with Vicki M. Wright and Associates based in Washington.

One of Vicki’s hobbies was her love for the history of Mt. Vernon, VA, and she spent several years role-playing Martha Washington there. She also loved stimulating the economy by antiquing and adorning her home with many of her treasured finds.

Vicki loved participating in various local clubs and organizations. She was a 50-year member of Eastern Star and also enjoyed the companionship of the April Debs Homemaker’s Club, Garden Club, Red Hats and Book Club.

Vicki was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles and her beloved lazy cat, Charlie.

Those left to cherish her memory and celebrate Vicki’s life include: her children, Gaven (Yumi) Wilson of Odon, Aaron (Cindy) Wilson of Washington, Ethan (Angela) Wilson of Elnora, Steven (Kristina) Wright of Barstow, CA, Kurt (Maia) Wright of McKinleyville, CA and Krystal Wright (Ron Jones) of Las Vegas, NV; grandchildren, Jake, Eli, Brody, and Bryson Wilson, Brandt, Lance and Logan Wilson, Katrina and Serena Trujillo and Aries Wright, Elijah Wright and Serenity Jones, and Lena Wright; sister, Becky (Bill) Moulden of Niceville, FL; aunts, Judy Beasley of Washington and Beverly Schuckman of Freelandville; many nieces, nephews and cousins; her faithful canine lap companions Lexie and Buddy and many friends.
