Mr. Vick Miller Jones Sr was born June 19, 1952 in Hardeman County (Bolivar TN) to the late Thomas E. and Alberta Jones of Toone TN. Vick departed this walk of life on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.
Vick Jones graduated Bolivar Industrial and went onto enlist in the United States Army. Vick Jones professed Christ at a young age. He was an active member at Hillfield Baptist Church until his health begin to fail.
Vick worked several different places in his life time. His last and most recent employment was Hardeman County Highway Department where he retired from in January 2018. Although he retired he continued to work and serve his family, friends and community doing what he loves to do which was being a mechanic.
He leaves to cherish memory a wife, Shirley Jones of Medon, TN of 48 years of marriage; three children: Toinette Jones (Medon, TN), Vick Jones Jr (Shalanda Jones) Jackson TN, Michael Jones Sr (Yonakura Jones) Bolivar, TN. He leaves five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three step grandchildren. He leaves three sisters: Mrs. Mattie Hunter (Mansfield, OH), Mrs. Mae (Frankie) March of Medon, TN, and Mrs. Linda Rivers (Toone TN). He leaves 5 brothers: Mr. James (Mary Jean) Jones of Toone TN, Mr. Roy (Martha) Jones Bolivar, TN, Mr. Larry (Marilyn) Jones Denmark TN, Mr. Phillip (Gloria) Jones Toone TN, and Mr. Lyndon (Brenda) Jones Sr of Bolivar TN and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
