Vic Orian Walters, 69, Pendleton, went to be with his Lord and Savior, December 12, 2011 at St. Johns Health System, Anderson Indiana after a brief illness. He was born November 15, 1942 in San Diego, CA, and grew up in Irwin, Missour. He had lived in Pendleton since 1975, moving there from Anderson.

Vic was a graduate of Lamar High School and the Engineering School at the University of Missouri @ Rolla. After 34 ½ years he retired from General Motors, Anderson, where he had served as Director and Chief of Engineering.

Vic was a member of Fall Creek Christian Church, where he served as Deacon on several boards, and served on the Anderson Leadership Academy Board.

Survivors include his wife, whom he married May 18, 1973 in Chesterfield, Darlene Stephenson Walters; five children, Shannon Ealy of Anderson fiance’, Brigette Ellis, Erin Hacker Brian of Fishers, Jill Garrett Dr. Michael of Austin, TX, Jamie Jenkins Corey of Las Vegas, NV & Jobie Lee Andy of Las Vegas, NV; one brother, Max Walters Debbie of Lamar, MO; two sisters, Joy Armstrong Gene of Lamar, MO and Jill Pugh Carter of Lamar, MO; seven grandchildren, who were the joy of his life in recent years; Aryanna Ealy, Jaxon Lee, Max Garrett, Kai Hacker, Addison Lee, Kate Garrett & Cade Jenkins and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of St. John’s Hospital and Dr. Eddy & Dr. Mares. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles “Joe” & Leona “Nadine” Dockery Walters; and a nephew, Kale Walters.
