Veronica M. Francesco, RN “Roni” (nee Lovendusky) of Edgewater Park, died Tuesday February 9, 2016 at her residence. Born in Mt. Holly, Veronica was raised in Hainesport and was a longtime Edgewater Park resident. She attended Sacred Heart Grammer School, was a member of the first class to enter Holy Cross High School and later graduated from Mt. Holly High School.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing, specializing in psychiatric nursing. She worked at Rancocas Valley Hospital (later Lourdes Medical Center) in Willingboro. She also worked for many years in private practice for Dr. Ira Fox in Willingboro. Roni had many interests and joys in life including gardening, photography, painting and her month in Naples, Florida every year. However her greatest joy and love, and the one thing that always came first was her family.
She was affectionately known as Oni by her children and grandchildren. Veronica was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Tillie Lovendusky, her son Tony Francesco, Jr., her brother Robert Lovenduski and her sister Joan Clarke.
Roni is survived by her loving husband of 56 years and high school sweetheart Anthony Francesco, her son and daughter in law Richard and Jeanette Francesco, her daughter and son in law Lori and Brian Gregory, her grandchildren; Richard, Paige, Trent and Vaughn Francesco, Anthony, Domenic and Allison Gregory, her great granddaughter Moxie Gregory, her brothers and sisters in law Richard and Phyllis Lovenduski and Raymond and Nancy Lovenduski, her sister in law Penny Lovenduski and her sister and brother in law Dee and John Page, brother in law John Stefanoni as well as many nieces and nephews.
