With saddened hearts, the family of Vernon Wilson of Buford announce his passing and that he is now with Jesus his Savior.
Mr. Wilson passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years, D Anne Wilson and daughter, Patricia Anne Wilson.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his children, Ms. Terry Wilson Bell, Dacula, GA, Mrs. Tracy Wilson Peters and husband Mark, Buford, GA, and Ms. Nancy Rademacher, Buford, GA; eight grandchildren, Dustin Bell, Tyler Bell, Jule Embree, Hunter Grundman, Foster Peters, Rachel Ramey, Dylan Roberts, and Logan Rademacher; three great grandchildren, Emma Bell, Sam Ramey, River Embree; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Robert and Mimi Jones, Blue Ridge, GA; his dog Mickey; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Mr. Wilson was born on October 19, 1932 in Conyers, GA.
He honorably served in the Navy from 1951 until 1955. He was owner of Commercial Signmakers, Inc in Lilburn, GA and he retired from A&P Foods in Atlanta, GA. Mr. Wilson was a member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church in Buford. He served his Lord in different churches in the metro Atlanta area. He was certified prison minister for many years and ministered to hundreds of prison inmates.
