Vernon D. Cash, age 90, of Buford, GA passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine B Cash; daughter, Judy Porter Perkins; father, Theodore R Cash; mother, Grace V Cash; and sister, Troyce C Daily.
He is survived by his children, Joan and Jimmy Perkins, Suwanee, GA; Dwayne and Teresa Cash, Buford, GA; Kim and Tony Wolfe, Buford, GA; ten grandchildren, Daren and Lynn Perkins, Derek and Amy Perkins, Drew and Heather Perkins, Tiffany and Kenny Hutchinson, Emily and Steven Beaumont, Andy and Dana Perkins, Meredith and Nick Palmer, Hunter Cash, Whitney Wolfe, Peyton Wolfe; and fifteen great grandchildren.
Mr. Cash was born on April 24, 1930 in Homer, GA to Theodore and Grace Cash.
He was a high school graduate of Banks County High School in Homer, GA. Mr. Cash was retired from Bell South after 38 years of service, installing and repairing telephones in the Buford area. He was a member of Sugar Hill Church, formerly First Baptist Church Sugar Hill, for over 60 years and served as a deacon for almost 40 years.
