Vernon A. Jackson transitioned on July 25, 2022. He loved the Lord and was a servant leader to everyone he met. He especially enjoyed serving within the community by feeding the men at the DC Shelter and unselfishly giving his time and talents. Vernon leaves to cherish his devoted wife of 30 years, Tracey, and two sons, Joshua (Khiarah) and Isaiah. His granddaughter, Abigail, mother, Alice Wilson, sister, Yvette (Nathan), in-laws Bettye and Willie Isom, Jr. and a host of family and friends; and long-time devoted friend, Herbert O. Smith.
