Vernelle Tanner, age 87, of Douglas, Ga. passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at Shady Acres following an extended illness. Mrs. Tanner was born on June 11, 1930, in Douglas, Ga.
Survivors include: her daughter, Lynn (Tommy) Harrell of Douglas, Ga.; son, Richard (Linda) Tanner of Crawfordville, Fl.; four grandchildren, Christina Berry, Jodie Tanner, Hanna Harrell Roberts, and Hayden Harrell; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elijah Tanner; and a grandson, Josh Tanner.
