Vernell “Nell” R. Lane, of Mary Esther, passed away on Thursday, August 14, after a brief illness. She was the daughter of the late Ike and Carrie Lee Rowell.
Mrs. Lane was born in Evergreen, Alabama and raised and educated in Monroeville, Alabama.
Nell is survived by her husband of 13 years, Morton O. Lane and her children; Toni Mryette Faulk and Rick, Shelah Bogart, Daryl Faulk and wife Jasmine, as well as her step-children; Shelly Hatke and husband Chuck, Kenneth Underwood and wife Diane, Janice Hendrix and husband Paul, Nancy Chambers and husband Billy. Mrs. Lane was sister of the late Odell Luker and is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren
