Verna N. Stitt May, 84, of Maysville went to be with Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 23, 2014.
Mrs. May was born in Robertson County on September 21, 1929 daughter of the late William & Lucy Hitt Stitt.
Survivors include 2 daughters, Vicki (Ray) Barbee of Circleville, OH, Angela (Jack) Shannon of May’s Lick; 3 sons, Michael F. May and Christopher (Missy) May of Maysville and Mark (Chrystal) May of West Union, OH. 8 grandchildren, Jamie (Andrea) Barbee, LaJeannia (Brian) Eyerman, Jason Barbee, Nathan (Amber) May, Jack Shannon, Jr., Josh (Rosanna) Shannon, Jennica Shannon, Trent (Christina) May and 11 great grandchildren and a brother Paul Stitt of May’s Lick.
Our hearts are heavy laden with sorrow, but we know she is in the sheltering arms of Jesus. What a joyous reunion that was.
