Verna “Jean” Budd Verna “Jean” Budd, 92, of Ridgefield, wife of the late William E. Budd, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 22, 2014, surrounded by her family at her home. Mrs. Budd was born in Galesburg, Kansas on February 11, 1922, the daughter of Chester and Hazel (Redman) Willis. She spent her childhood years living in Kansas, graduating from Chanute High School and Chanute Junior College.
