Vern McFarland, Jr. of Burlington Township, formerly of Manasquan, passed away at the Masonic Home of NJ on Monday at the age of 84. Vern had a few favorite places in his life, one of those was the Manasquan Inlet and the other being in his garden with his beloved Jersey Tomatoes.
Vern was a proud and devoted F&AM for over 60 years and was a brother of Loyalty Lodge #33. Husband of the late Irene, he is survived by their children: Laura (Ben) Meschio, Vern McFarland, III (Stacey); 5 grandchildren: Rebecca, Varalin, Elizabeth, William, Peter; 2 great-granddaughters: Emilia and Violet.
