Vern L. Moore, age 58, of Cassopolis, died Thursday September 15, 2016 in Borgess Lee Memorial Hospital in Dowagiac, Michigan.
He was born December 9, 1957 in Berrien Center, Michigan to Willie and Selessie Moore. His mother survives. He was preceded in death by his father; one sister, Willa Moore; and two brothers, Larry Moore, Freddie Lee Davis.
Vern will be remembered for his taste in music. He kept everyone satisfied.
Vern will be greatly missed by family and friends.
He is survived by his mother, Selessie (Moore) Winters of Vandalia; son Verne E. Moore of Cassopolis; step son, Cecil L. Byrd of Cassopolis; siblings, Shirley Davis of Florida, Josephine Flowers of Vandalia, Alberta Moore of Kalamazoo, Arlene Moore of Cassopolis, Lori Williams of Cassopolis, Lovia Moore of Vandalia, Elizabeth Jackson of Benton Harbor, Ronnie Moore of Albion, Nate Moore of Kalamazoo, Michael Moore of Kalamazoo, Melvin Moore of Cassopolis, Sylvester Moore of Indiana, Cameron Moore of Michigan City; and a host of aunties and uncles, nieces and nephews.
