Mr. Verlie Perry, 91, a resident of Lanett, Al passed away Friday, August 8, 2014 in LaGrange, GA.
Mr. Perry is survived by two sons, Michael J. Perry (Karen) of Nashville and Tim Perry (Nancy) of Stroud; four grandchildren, Ben Perry, Katie Perry McGinity, Michelle Perry Horsley, and Kelly Perry Apple; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Jo Reaves and Donell Peters of Lanett; Louise Mitchum of Roanoke, AL and Francis Stephens of Valley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Daniel Perry.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired after forty years of service at the West Point Pepperell Lanett Mill and was a member of the Lanett Baptist Church.
Family and friends will assemble at the gravesite.
