Vergenia Annette Hasty, 46, of Dalton went home to her Lord and Savior on October 7, 2020 after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer. She had a strong faith and was a beautiful and caring person with a giant heart and a brilliant smile that would light up the whole room. Annette graduated from Southeast Whitfield High School and was employed by Lincare as a customer service representative. Annette had a passion for living life to the fullest. She was devoted to her family and enthusiastically supported her children in all their interests – football, softball, soccer, and cheerleading. She was the greatest mother and Nae-Nae ever! She is preceded in death by her father, James Chance; brothers Steven and Michael Chance; and grandparents Elmer and Sallie Chance and Joe and Lela Brewer. She is survived by her precious children, Brooke (Hunter Cleary), Britt, and Bree Hasty of Dalton; Brian Gale (Stevie) of California; Chris Gale (Lavonda) of Murfreesboro; her grandchildren, Natalie Cleary and Luke Hasty; her mother, Linda Sane (Bob) of Kentucky; her brother, Robert Chance (Ruthina); step sister, Brandi Miller; father of her children, Mitch Hasty; and her sister in the battle, Jamie Fowler; as well as several nieces, nephews, and a host of close friends. She will be sorely missed by all whose lives she touched.
