ROUGEMONT Mrs. Vera Lee Medlin, 85, of Rougemont, died on Wednesday, February 28, . Medlin was born in Wake County, the daughter of the late Allen Roger Tapp and Mana Thompson Tapp. She had lived the last 34 years in Person County as a homemaker. She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Mrs. Medlin retired from Gold Kist Poultry. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Joseph Bobby Medlin, Sr.; two brothers and one is survived by her children, Joe Medlin, Bobby Medlin, Jr., Linda Medlin Spence and Jerry Medlin; one brother and two sisters, fourteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.m. at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens.
