Vera Catherine Thompson, born December 25, 1929 in Denver, CO, passed away October 19, 2021 in Englewood, CO. She is survived by her sons Joe (Mary) and Jerry (Christina) Ruhland, grandchildren Melissa, Matthew and Jack, great-grandson Gray, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son Jim Ruhland and husband Jim Thompson.
Vera worked for Mountain Bell from 1955 to 1983.
Her sweet, giving and generous nature made her a favorite wherever she went, and that is how her family hopes she will be remembered.
Later in her life, Vera found much enjoyment in listening to books from the Colorado Talking Book Library.
