Venus Mason, 54 of Concord, NC, and formally of Monroe, MI, passed away on Thursday, November 13th. She had been in poor health for several years. Although her body stopped working at Northeast Medical Center, her spirit left while she was still at home surrounded by loved ones.
Venus was born April 10, 1960, in Monroe, MI. She was the daughter of Billy and Joyce Mason. She attended Monroe High School and was a member of Monroe Missionary Baptist Church.
Surviving are her children, Billy-Jo (Jennifer) Mason of Concord, NC, and Bobbi Lee Mason of Temperance, MI, along with 5 beautiful grandchildren, a brother, Billy Collins of Monroe, MI, and many other family members and friends whose lives she has touched. Venus was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, and brother Freddy Mason.
