Venola “Nola” Ray Burgess, age 90, passed away on January 22, 2017. She was a dedicated Christian and a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Roebuck Plaza. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lile “Buck” R. Burgess. She is survived by her three children, Donna Nichols (Jimmy), Kathy Christophersen (Chuck) and Alan Burgess; brother, Robert “Bob” Ray (Barbara); two grandchildren, Derrick Wingard and Bre Anne Holland (Heath) and her great granddaughter, Lynde Seay.
