He was born May 18, 1946, in Santa Rosa, Texas to Domingo and Maria Ballin Rios.Venancio was retired after 20+ years of service from Harlingen CISD as a painter. His talents were many, he had a passion for auto mechanics and working on cars.Venancio is preceded in death by his wife, Rosalinda M. Rios; parents, Domingo and Maria Rios; brothers, Benito Rios and Domingo Rios Jr.; sister, Sylvia Rios; brother-in-law, Daniel Leal, and sister-in-law, Petra Rios.He leaves to cherish his beautiful memory, his son, Felix Rios (Julie); stepdaughter, Sophie Atkinson (Jeff); grandchildren, Anthony Rios, Dustin Rios, Alexis Rios, Christopher Atkinson, Stephanie Atkinson, Jesse Atkinson, Kelsey Rios, Zachary Rios, and Danee Rios; siblings, Felix Rios, Juan Rios (Letty), Mario Gomez (Sylvia), Isabel Gonzales (Tony), and Esmeralda Leal; he is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
