Vena Ester (Dorraugh) Talbott, 95, of rural Linton, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2008, at Glenburn Home in Linton, IN. Born in Greene County, Indiana, on May 22, 1912, she was the daughter of Marvin E. and Maggie (Swango) Johnson. Fredrick Leo Dorraugh was Vena’s first husband and after his death, she married a second time to John Edward Talbott.
Survivors include a son, James David Dorraugh, a granddaughter, Filinda Lu (Michael) Farris of Brazil, IN, a stepson, William J. (Pat) Talbott of Indianapolis, IN, a step-granddaughter, Julie (Ryan) Lechleidner of Indianapolis, IN, and a sister, Ruby Brothers of Westland, MI.
Vena was preceded in death by her parents, two husbands, two brothers, Hubert & Chester Johnson, and two sisters, Dorothy Watson and Ruth Wells.
