Velva Irene Fowler, age 74, of Fayette, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Church of God with Rev. Leland Sapp and Rev.
Velva was preceded in death by her parents, Troy and Maye Gilley; and sister, Johnnie York.
She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-one years, James L. Fowler; her four daughters, Lona Maye Fowler, Lela Faye Voliva (Jason), Gracie Irene Fowler and Katrina Coughenower; sisters, Lynda Achenbach (Herb) and Charlotte Scott (John); grandchildren, Jennifer Marie Hall (Michael), Robert Jay Wilkins (Tyler), Jason Benjamin Voliva, Jr. (Amber) and Josh Eelbobe; and great grandchild, Patrick Louis Hall.
