Velma Lenora Norton Thorson Wood Wolt, 87, of Nampa, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at a local care center of natural causes.
Velma was born April 12, 1922 at Fort Collins, Colorado, the daughter of Samuel Walter Norton and Lily May Floyd Norton.
She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Rosy) Thorson; her grandchildren, Craig (Jill) Thorson, and Cynthia (Kelly) Chase; her great-grandchildren, Megan Martin and Kenneth Chase; and brothers, Ralph Norton and Stanley Norton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Glenn Norton and Floyd Norton; sister, Shirley Norton; and husbands, H.J. “Red” Thorson, Harold C. Wood and Jack Wolt.
