Ilene Milburn was born, March 3, 1935, in Slapout, Oklahoma. She moved to the Treasure Valley as a small child, and spent her life here until she passed away peacefully at home, January 9, 2011. She was 75 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis Milburn, and survived by her children, Linda, Henry, Leonard, and Sheri Milburn.
She spent many years volunteering for the Federal Foundation for the Blind, worked at Gem State Developmental, teaching disabled adults basic living skills, and at Sherman Elementary where she was a teacher’s aid. The last fifteen years of her life were dedicated to raising her three grandchildren; Jessica, Micheal, and Tiffany.
She was the best possible example of how to live life and will be missed terribly.
