Velda “Gale” Bernard Christison, 80, of Beaverton, OR., passed away on May 18, 2016.
Gale was born in Emmett, Idaho to William Meeks and Pearl Bernard on Feb 27, 1936. She married Ernest Christison on Oct. 7, 1955.
She loved quilting, crafts and spent many hours doing volunteer work for Loaves & Fishes and many other organizations.
Gale is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, one sister, and one son, Lamont Christison. Gale is survived by her husband, Ernest; daughter, Denise (Henry); son, Rod; four sisters; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
