Vaughn Ray Daines, 85, passed away January 9, 2022. He was born October 25, 1936, to Oliver James and Lila May Barfuss Daines in Logan, Utah.
Vaughn graduated from Utah State University and worked as a computer system analyst. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and married Sharon Anderson on March 6, 1970, in the Los Angeles Temple. He served a mission in Germany and also served in the Jordan River and Ogden Temples for many years. Vaughn enjoyed gardening and traveling.
Vaughn is survived by his wife Sharon; children, Janel (Bryan) Hoggan, Brent (Yannett) Daines, Diana (Jim) Atkinson, Mark Daines, Doug (Julie) Daines; 20 grandchildren; siblings, Jay (Lucy) Daines, Norm Daines, and Val Rhodes. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Donald, Weldon, and LuJuana Baker.
