Vaughn K. Marshall, 92, of Boise died January 11th 2014. She was born 12/2/1921 in Nokomis, IL to Joseph E. and Martha Best Pudenz. Vaughn graduated from Nokomis High School in 1939. She married Marcus L. Marshall on 6/12/1943. During World War II, she worked in a food processing plant in California while her husband was in Europe. After the war, the family settled in St. Charles, IL area where they raised two daughters. She also worked for Illinois Bell and the Hotel Baker in St. Charles, IL. In 1974, Vaughn & Marc relocated to Casselberry, Fl. In 2003, they moved to Boise, ID to be closer to family.
Vaughn was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Martha Pudenz, her brother Joseph Pudenz Jr., all of Nokomis, IL. and her son-in-law Andrew Freund of Boise, ID.
Survivors include her husband of 70 years, Marcus Marshall; daughter Karen Pritchard and her husband Tod of North Aurora, IL; daughter, Sharon Freund (Andrew) of Boise; grandsons Chris Freund and his wife Adriana of Boise; Sean Pritchard and his wife Tanyia of Clayton, NC; Colin Pritchard and his wife Angie of Montgomery, IL; Jody Freund and his wife Sarah of Kalispell, MT and ten great grandchildren.
