Vanna Francia, 76 of Hamden, died at home with family by her side on April 10, 2017. She was born in Silver Springs, MD on Dec. 28, 1940. While attending high school in Washington, D.C. she had the opportunity to interview John F. Kennedy. She was a Smith College graduate and an active member of the Alumni Association.
