Van was born in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday, May 13, 1952 to Andy and Ariebell Jeter, 4th of their 6 children. He graduated from Linden McKinley High School and continued on to receive his college certificate in Business.
Those who know Jete will miss the loyal Cleveland Browns fan, laughing jokester, supportive friend, and selfless hero.
