DUBLIN- Valley Rose (Cregar) Alldredge Crossley Deem, 97, passed away Saturday evening November 3, 2018 at Allisonville Meadows in Fishers, Indiana. A daughter of the late Leslie Wasson and Stella Elizabeth (Inderstrodt) Cregar, Valley Rose was born in Richmond, Indiana on August 31, 1921. She moved to Dublin when she was 2 years old and graduated from Lincoln High School in Cambridge City and was a proud Wampus Cat. She has lived most of her life in Wayne County. Valley was a “Rosie the Riveter” during World War II, building radios for the war effort. She worked at Mahoney Electric and retired as a secretary/bookkeeper. Valley was active in the Richmond Senior Center and the Richmond Art Club. She was well known for her talent in painting, poetry and music. Valley will be remembered for her huge heart and love of others. She was a member of the Dublin Friends Meeting.

Valley was preceded in death by 2 children, Timothy Kent Alldredge and Gail Beth Jackson; 2 husbands, William R. Crossley and George Deem; 2 sisters; 1 brother.

Survivors include Timothy’s children, Lori, Julie and Matthew; Gail’s children, Michael, Mark and Elaine; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
