Valerie Lynn Newell 1968-2015 Valerie Lynn Newell, 47, of Ottawa, formerly of LaSalle-Peru and Arlington passed away suddenly at Edward Hospital in Naperville on Tuesday, September 8, 2015.
Valerie was born on January 20, 1968 to Russ and Sharon (Klinefelter) Hardie in Spring Valley. She was a graduate of LaMoille High School, Class of ‘86. She married Francis James “Jamie” Newell Jr. on April 20, 2002 at Harding Methodist Church in Harding, IL.
Valerie worked for many years at Plano Molding and the Menard’s Distribution Center in Plano, IL.
Valerie is survived by her loving husband, Jamie, her sister, Kristen (Matt) Euler, of Virginia, her in-laws, Ann and Francis Newell, Sr., of Ottawa, two brothers-in-law, Jason (Amy) Newell and their children, Alana and Jackson, all of Winnebago, IL, and Steve (Marie) Newell of Utica, two sisters-in-law, Pam (Doug) Miller of Peoria, and Kim (Bob) Kolesar of Ottawa. Her aunt and uncle, Gloria and Richard Klinefelter of Dubuque, Iowa, two special cousins, Charles Klinefelter and Geneva Allen, of DePue, numerous cousins from the Neidetcher and Smith Family of Arlington, IL, and a special friend Amy Smith, of Linton, England. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Cindy Becker.
