Valeria J. Kuhns, 84, of 332 West Penn Street, Muncy, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the home of her Son and Daughter-in-Law, Tim and Cindy Kuhns of Cogan Station, with her family at her bed side.
Valeria was a life time auxiliary member of the Muncy VFW Post 3428 and an auxiliary member of the Watsontown Legion Post 323.
Valeria enjoyed Karaoke, bingo, doing jig saw puzzles, gardening, cooking and canning. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Born August 18, 1927 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of William and Anna Hostrander Fillman.
Surviving are sons, Roy in Germany, Thomas of Montoursville, Philip, Jr. of Trout Run and Timothy of Cogan Station; daughter, Candace Harvey of Cogan Station; sisters, Joanne Merrick of South Williamsport and Marilyn Burkholder of Williamsport; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great grandchildren and three great great grandsons.
Valeria was predeceased by a son, Dennis Kuhns, Sr., a daughter, Margaret Dowling; brothers, John and William Fillman and a sister, Evelyn Fillman.
