Grandmother of Lisa (Mitch), Julia (Michael), Barbara, Bryanna, and Grace. Sister of Diva Onnee and Florence Cornet and the late Livio, Maria, Battista, Ellia, Mercedes, and Enzo.Survived by her close niece Diva Anna DePaoli and many other nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.Valda had a very global life. Born in Friuli Italy she moved to France during World War II. After surviving the war, Valda returned to Italy and became a famous model in Rome. Here she became friends with Angelo. She moved to Argentina for ten years where she worked for DuPont and lived with her sister Maria and the DePaoli family. Eventually she moved to the United States where she married Angelo. Her global life allowed Valda to speak many languages and specific dialects of Italian, French, Spanish and English. Valda enjoyed her family life and raising beautiful roses but her true love was art. She attended classes at the Philadelphia Museum of Art and painted and created for most of her life. Her paintings have always expressed her emotions and creativity and were enjoyed by all of us.
